Coach Scott JAN. 25 INFO MEETING RECAP was posted on 2012-01-29 Thanks to the many parents and players who attended the information meeting on Jan. 25th. It was a terrific turn-out and exciting to see so many players aready focused on the upcoming season! For those who couldn\'t attend, here are some key points of information: 1) REGISTRATION: All players must register before the season starts on Feb. 27th. There are instructions on this web site that explains the process. Students must register BOTH through the CHS Athletic Office AND through the www.curtislax.com web site. Parents/Guardians also must register through this web site in order to receive e-mails and booster club information. Please register ASAP!! 2) CRAB FEED: The annual Crab Feed will be held on March 24th at the Steilacoom Community Center. Please get registered (see above) and watch your e-mails and the web site for info about purchasing tickets and soliciting items for the auction. This is the major fund raiser for the club and proceeds go toward purchasing uniforms, team building activities and coach stipends. There are MANY volunteer opportunities and help from everyone is needed! 3) Coach Bloom urged the boys to participate in pre-season conditioning and to make sure their registration paperwork is completed before the season starts. He also shared his expectations for the season and from each player. He is pumped about the upcoming season and ready to go! 4) SPIRIT GEAR: Please check out the many options for purchasing Curtis LAX sportswear. It will only be available for purchase through the web. This can be done by going to kimmel.itemorder.com and clicking on Kimmel Athletic Supply Co - ordermygear. The code for CHS is: CFUMR. Jan. 25th, 6:30 p.m. at the CHS Faculty Development Room. The room entrance is adjacent to the main office parking lot. All players are urged to attend following conditioning. Parents/Guardians will hear the latest from Coach Scott and learn more about the upcoming Crab Feed and other booster club activities.
